Beni isn’t just the driving force – he’s the undisputed chief of our Groove Crew. With a smile that makes even the rainiest Monday feel like sunshine, he guides our Waldhuus through a vibrant daily life full of guests, good vibes, and creative ideas.
His mission? Keeping an eye on everything.
He makes sure every room sparkles, every team member shines, and every guest feels right at home. Beni is an organizer, a motivator, a visionary – and when it really counts, he’s also a DJ, bartender, or a comforting presence.
In short: No beat without Benni. No Bellary without the Groove Crew.
Enja
Our Co-Leader with Heart and Humor
Enja is our female head at Waldhuus Bellary – but in truth, she’s so much more: we also like to call her our Good-Vibes-Enja, Idea-Turbo, and Mood-Maker.
Whether she’s welcoming guests, keeping an overview, or spontaneously saving the world – Enja does it all with a wink and 110% energy. She’s the bridge between crew and management, between planning and partying, between structure and real groove.
In short: Enja is our sunshine with leadership skills.
Anyone who knows her knows – around here, things aren’t just organized, they’re filled with laughter and life.
Sahili
Our Humorous Office Superheroine
When Beni and Enja are taking a well-earned break, you're sure to find Sahili getting things done in the Bellary universe. She’s the backbone of our front office – getting things moving and keeping everything on track.
Whether she’s tackling paperwork or lending a hand at breakfast, you’ll find Sahili just about everywhere. With her charming smile and a solid dose of humor, she masters each day – organized, cheerful, and effortlessly cool.
In short: Sahili is our all-round superheroine – in the front and back office, or wherever she’s needed most. With Sahili, every day turns into a groovy adventure!
Vanessa
Our Room Queen – with Style and Power
Vanessa is our “Room Boss” – she gets every room in top shape, while also being a front desk pro and breakfast expert. Vanessa is everywhere! She rocks every task with precision and keeps our little paradise sparkling clean.
And when the day winds down, there’s nothing better than kicking off the next party with her.
In short: Vanessa is our multitasking queen – from reception to rooms. She keeps everything running smoothly, always with a good dose of humor.

Pisco

In the colorful, ever-buzzing world of Bellary, one name always brings a smile to everyone’s face: Pisco!
With floppy ears, an ever-wagging tail, and eyes full of mischief and love, Pisco is more than just a dog—he’s our house hero, our four-pawed genius, and the unofficial boss of good vibes.
Whether he’s solving mysteries (by sniffing every corner), stealing the show during meetings (zoomies included), or just being his irresistibly cute self, Pisco has a knack for making everything better.
He’s not just our house dog —he’s the spirit of Bellary:
curious, clever, and full of joy.
Bellary History
The Waldhuus Bellary was originally built in 1886 by Indian missionaries, who named it after the city of Bellary in India. Nearly half a century later, in 1936, the Nakajima-Schild family took over the property and made it their own. In 1984, the house underwent a major renovation, including the addition of a third floor. After four generations of family ownership, the Waldhotel Bellary was sold in 2024 to Carole and Philip Hauser, 4th generation at the Hotel Belvedere Grindelwald. Following a thoughtful repositioning, the newly envisioned
“Waldhuus Bellary” will reopen in summer 2025.
Inspired by the bold, free-spirited energy of the 70s, we created Waldhuus Bellary as a throwback to an era of adventure, style and unforgettable experiences. Nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps, our house blends retro aesthetics with modern comfort, bringing a fresh take on mountain stays.
